Yurt Accommodations
Shearwater Cove features yurt accommodations! Our yurts are permanent, insulated structures that are fabricated here in Alaska. We chose yurts as the ideal accommodation for our remote location in order to have the lowest possible impact on the land. Yurts are incredibly versatile, and we chose to build ours out with quality off-grid amenities to offer you a luxurious wilderness experience!
Shearwater Cove is home to seven yurts total: 3 Premier Yurts and 4 Original Yurts.
Premier Yurt Highlights:
Our most prominent ocean views, private covered patios, 2 queen beds that each have their own private bedroom space, electricity for lighting and charging electronics, spacious private bathrooms.
Original Yurt Highlights:
Oceanfront views, private outdoor patios, open floor plan with 1 queen bed and 1 full size futon bed, private bathroom on each yurt’s deck.
